FUSION — Worship – Learning – Service

This section of the web site is still being developed. Additional FUSION materials will be added in the future.

Fusion LogoWhat would happen if we took our traditional church school and worship and put them together into one blended experience that connects to our discipleship throughout the week? We would have FUSION. The FUSION service is a two-hour experience beginning at 9:00 am. It is based on the seasons of the church year and follows the lectionary themes and scriptures. FUSION is an integrated set of worship, learning, and service experiences on Sunday morning that continue during the following week. It is include a mix of whole congregation, group, and personal experiences, some by age-level and some intergenerational. It has a mix of some of the traditional ways we have worshipped and studied together along with some new experiences of worship, learning and serving together.

Connecting Sunday morning to what we do the rest of the week is a key part of the FUSION experience. When we finish our Sunday morning activities and disperse, FUSION continues as we go about our activities during the following week. As part of the Sunday morning experience, materials are provided for applying the FUSION emphasis individually and as families or small groups. As this section of the web site is further developed, we will provide additional application ideas and links through the web site.
