Leadership Structure

Leadership Teams GraphicAnaheim Congregational Life ministries are led by five ministry teams that plan and lead our ministry efforts. A Leadership Council consisting of the pastor, the team leaders, and the financial officer help coordinate and integrate the activities of the ministry teams. Our pastor leads the overall effort.

Our ministry approach is based on sharing leadership and involving more people in meaningful ministry. The leadership teams are fully empowered teams who are delegated leadership responsibility within their ministry areas. They identify ministry needs, determine approaches to meeting these needs, and lead those ministry efforts.

The purpose of the leadership teams isn’t just to get work done, it’s also to help people explore their gifts and engage them in meaningful ways within the life of the congregation. The leadership teams provide not only opportunities to involve people in their areas of giftedness, but also to help them cultivate their ministry gifts and discover new areas of giftedness.

Pastor

The pastor serve as the spiritual and administrative leader of the congregation. The pastor serves as the leader of the congregation priesthood, supervises and coordinates the leadership teams’ functioning, and oversees the administrative functions that support all of the teams, such as congregational communication tools.

The Congregation Financial Officer (CFO) assists the pastor and team leaders in planning for and executing financial support of the congregation’s ministries. The CFO also receives and accounts for our member’s and friends’ financial contributions, pays the congregation’s bills, and assists the pastor in developing and managing the congregation’s budget.
